10/25/24 Name Released from Fatal Dodge County Accident

Dodge County Sheriff’s officials have released the name of the 33-year-old Oconomowoc man killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday morning. His name was Blake Olson. Shortly before 9:30 that morning Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the crash on State Highway 26 south of County Road S in the town of Oak Grove. The Initial investigation shows the passenger car was heading north on State Highway 26 when it entered the gravel shoulder. Olson lost control of the vehicle, and it went into a counterclockwise skid crossing both lanes of traffic. The vehicle went into a ditch and vaulted into a farm field causing it to overturn multiple times. He was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
