9/21/24 FDL Woman Killed in Minivan Rollover Crash

A 45-year-old Fond du Lac woman died in a rollover crash on River Road in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Byron late Friday morning. A caller reported the crash at 10:47 am to the County Communications Center saying two people were trapped inside a minivan. Sheriff’s deputies, Oakfield Fire and EMS and Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue responded. Deputies were able to free a trapped passenger in the vehicle which was overturned in a ditch. The Fond du Lac woman, who was driving the minivan, died at the scene. The crash investigation is ongoing.
