8/6/24 Semi Overturns on Interstate 41 Exit in FDL

The Fond du Lac County Communications Center got a call just after 7 am this morning about an overturned semi on Interstate 41 at the Highway 151 off-ramp. The semi was reported to be leaking diesel fuel. Deputies and State Troopers responded and found that a southbound semi had attempted to exit I-41 at Highway 151 and lost control on the wet pavement. The semi jack-knifed and overturned in the eastbound ditch of the interstate. When it overturned a 150-gallon fuel tank was ruptured and fuel spilled into the ditch. No injuries were reported.
