8/3/24 Washington County Man Killed in Rollover Crash

A single vehicle rollover accident Friday evening claimed the life of a Washington County man. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified about the crash just before 8:30 pm. It happened on County Road Z north of Dunst Drive in the Town of West Bend. The vehicle had come to rest on the passenger side with the man trapped inside. West Bend Rescue confirmed he was dead. The preliminary investigation determined he was going south on County Road Z, gradually crossed over into the northbound lanes and entered a ditch. The vehicle struck a WE Energies pole, continued in the ditch and rolled multiple times before coming to rest. It was Washington County’s third traffic fatality of the year.
