8/26/24 Excessive Heat Watches and Warnings

The National Weather Service has issued heat advisories, watches and warnings for the area. Dodge and Green Lake County have an Excessive Heat Warning from 1 to 8 pm today with heat index values of up to 107 degrees. Excessive Heat Watches will be in effect for Dodge, Fond du Lac and Green Lake counties Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heat Advisories have been issued for Fond du Lac, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago counties from 1 to 8 pm today with heat index values from 100 to 105 degrees. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
