8/22/24 FDL Boy Struck and Killed by Vehicle

A 6-year-old Fond du Lac boy was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in the city Wednesday night. According to police the boy rode his bicycle into the street in the 300 block of Grove Street and was struck by a westbound vehicle. A 41-year-old North Fond du Lac resident was driving the vehicle. Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue took the boy to St. Agnes Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died later. The State Patrol assisted police with reconstruction of the accident. The accident remains under investigation.
