Green Lake Stories is not only for those who have much to learn about Green Lake. Residents who have lived in Green Lake their whole lives will enjoy delving deep into the history behind the area’s clubs, landmarks, and happenings around Green Lake.
The event takes place rain or shine. Attendees can place a sandwich lunch order with Adam’s Rib before 11:00 a.m. on the day of the event to have their meal delivered.
“It’s been wonderful seeing the amount of people who have been showing up each session,” Kris Anderson, Town Square Executive Director stated. “We look forward to a summer of rediscovering Green Lake’s long history.”
The first two sessions of Green Lake Stories each drew over 50 people, making the events a huge success. Gretchen Zeratsky shared the history of the Green Lake Sailing School that has been introducing people to sailing since 1960. A question-and-answer session followed, allowing attendees to discuss what they learned and ask further questions.
