5/9/24 Three Vehicle Injury Crash in Dodge County

Two people were injured, one seriously, in a three vehicle collision in Dodge County’s Town of Beaver Dam Wednesday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say an 84-year-old Markesan man was driving a compact SUV north on State Highway 33 and collided with a pickup truck that that had slowed for a vehicle turning into a private driveway.  The SUV then crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Mitsubishi. The SUV ended up in a ditch where it rolled over multiple times. The Markesan man driving it was taken to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam and was then flown to Aurora Medical Center in Oconomowoc with serious injuries. The 50-year-old Beaver Dam woman driving the Mitsubishi was also taken to Marshfield Medical Center where she was treated and released. The 46-year-old Randolph Man operating the pickup was not injured.  The crash happened just before 3 pm Wednesday afternoon.
