4 May 2024 News

GREEN LAKE, WI, — Town Square Community Center, located at 492 Hill Street, Green Lake, invites you to bring your dinosaur-loving family to the fourth annual Dino Daze event on Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The planning committee has been hard at work creating a fun day full of learning, creating, and exploring, along with some fun ways to win free tickets to Dino Daze! You won’t want to miss out on this fun event for the whole family!

There are two exciting ways for the community to win free passes to Dino Daze. A raffle basket full of Dino Daze swag has been donated to Adam’s Rib; all funds raised from the basket will be donated to the Green Lake Playground Park Revamp fund.

Participating businesses in Green Lake, Ripon, and Princeton are hosting a Dino Hunt May 13 through 18. Visit any of the businesses to search for a hidden numbered dinosaur. Tune in to the Town Square Facebook page on May 18 for the live announcement from the Crossroads Parking Lot Party. Prizes include an assortment of Dino Daze items and one winner will receive a family pass to the event.  To see the list of businesses and learn more about the hunt, visit greenlaketownsquare.org/dinodaze.

“We’re so excited for the fourth annual Dino Daze,” stated Claire Maes, planning committee member. “We’ve added even more fun and excitement into this year’s schedule and we know our dino-loving families will have a blast!”

There will be plenty of chances to learn and play at Dino Daze. Get your hands dirty with the dino dig and crafts and then head over to the Fossil Fun presentations by the Dinosaur Discovery Museum: Kenosha! There will be live music with Curley and the Key, snakes with Steve and Carl’s Traveling Snake Show, and storytime by Caestecker Library. There is fun for the whole family at Dino Daze.

Dino Daze will be held rain or shine. Early bird tickets are available through May 25, 2024 for $20 per family (up to 6 members) or $5 for individual tickets. After May, the tickets will be $25 per family or $6 for individual tickets. Children under two years of age get in free. Purchase tickets in advance online at GreenLakeTownSquare.org or in person on the day of the event. Although all ages are welcome, activities are geared toward children ages 2-10.
