Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Shawano residents on drug charges following a rollover accident on Interstate 41 northbound near Townline Road. The accident happened late last Sunday night. The two fled on foot after the crash near Pioneer Road. Both were found and arrested. While fleeing they left behind a trail of drugs including fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana. Drug paraphernalia and over $1,000 in cash were found inside the vehicle. Deputies were assisted by North Fond du Lac Police and also used Sheriff’s K9 Rip and a drone at the scene to locate the 27-year-old woman, the man, and drugs. The two are being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on fentanyl, marijuana and cocaine trafficking charges and the woman was also placed on a probation hold. (Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s photo).
