5/20/24 Two Vehicle Accident at FDL County Hwy KK and Douglas Street

No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident at Fond du Lac County Highway KK and Douglas Street in the Town of Ripon this morning. Town Police Captain Howard Stibb says shortly before 8 am a car driven by 78-year-old Louise Zamzow of Ripon on County Highway KK was making a left turn onto Douglas Street when it was rear-ended by a car following it. Twenty-year-old Rylee Kekahbah of Racine told police her windshield wipers stopped momentarily, and she didn’t see the other car slowing to make the turn. There was heavy rain at the time. Neither woman was transported from the scene. Zamzow said she would seek treatment on her own and Kekahbah was checked over by an ambulance crew at the scene and declined transport. The accident is still under investigation.
