4/7/24 Body Found on Lake Butte des Morts

Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies and Oshkosh Police responded to a report of a possible body floating in Lake Butte des Morts near the Wiouwash Trail in the Town of Oshkosh Saturday night. When officers arrived, they located the body of an adult man who was deceased. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by Oshkosh Police, the Oshkosh Fire Department, and Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office. No other information was released. The time of the incident was 7:12 pm Saturday evening.
