Ripon, – The Ripon Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated annual
celebration event. Celebrate Ripon! is set to take place on May 22nd, 2024, at Vines & Rushes
Winery. This year’s event promises to be a memorable celebration of the city’s rich history and
vibrant community spirit with special focus on Ripon’s 175th Anniversary.
Themed around the nostalgic charm of the “Ripon Street Fair,” a beloved tradition from the early
1900s, the evening will capture the spirit of this special event in Ripon’s history. The Ripon
Street Fair was a time when the community united to showcase its achievements, share laughter,
and look to the future. Building upon this legacy, the Chamber of Commerce is proud to revive
the spirit of the Ripon Street Fair for this special occasion.
Open to both members and non-members, the event promises a carnival atmosphere complete
with dinner and desserts, games, a silent auction, and historical displays showcasing Ripon’s
evolution through captivating photos of the past and present day. Guests will have the
opportunity to immerse themselves in Ripon’s heritage while celebrating the milestones and
accomplishments of the past year. The Chamber will share a community update highlighting the
many reasons to celebrate Ripon!
In addition, the evening will feature guest speaker, Jeanne Lyke, 2024’s Commonwealth Person
of the Year, who was recognized for her outstanding contributions to the Ripon community.
Guests will be treated to live entertainment by the talented Dan Jerabek, from Copper Box, on
his accordion!

Anniversary with our members and the community,” said Mandy Kimes, Executive Director of
the Ripon Chamber of Commerce. “ This event is a testament to the incredible history and spirit of
Ripon, and we look forward to honoring our past while embracing the future.”
