4/26/24 Fire at a Culver’s Restaurant in FDL

Firefighters in Fond du Lac put out a fire in the attic of a Culver’s Restaurant at 81 West Pioneer Road early this morning. When fire crews arrived, they found smoke showing from the roof of the building. They were met by construction workers who were working on the roof of the building and reported the blaze. Access to the attic was difficult due to small void spaces. Crews opened up holes in the ceiling in multiple areas. Once access was made, they quickly extinguished the fire. There was smoke and water damage to the building. The cause is under investigation. The time of the fire call was 1:53 am.
