3/19/24 Machmueller Running for Ripon School Board

For Ripon School Board candidate Lori Machmueller education runs in the family. After being appointed to the board about a year ago she is running for election to one of the four seats available on the board. Machmueller’s father was a teacher for 42 years and she was involved in early childhood and special education herself for 35 years. She’s been retired the last five years, but still feels connected to education and feels she can bring something to the school board. She is glad to see more of an emphasis on mental health and social/emotional learning. Machmueller feels the Ripon Area School District is doing a good job educating children and that is reflected in state test scores, the graduation rate and recent staff and parent satisfaction surveys which gave high marks to the district. Machmueller is one of five candidates running for the Ripon School Board in the April 2nd election.
