Police in Oshkosh say an 89-year-old pedestrian struck by a vehicle backing into a roadway passed away Thursday at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. It happened in the 300 block of North Westhaven Drive Wednesday afternoon. The pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk. The 78-year-old woman driving the vehicle was cooperative with police. The roadway was closed for about an hour and 20 minutes.
