10 March 2024 News

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has released details about another traffic stop that resulted in a significant drug arrest. It happened this past week when a deputy pulled over an Oshkosh man who was traveling slow impeding other traffic. The driver was nervous and was sweating profusely. He said he was traveling from Chicago to Oshkosh. Sheriff’s K Rip conducted an open-air sniff around the vehicle indicating there may be drugs in the vehicle. Deputies found a duffle bag in the trunk. Inside of it were drugs packaged for sale and others that appeared “fresh off the block.” There was a total of 168 grams of methamphetamine, 34 grams of M30 pills that tested positive for fentanyl, blue pressed methamphetamine pills, 6 grams of marijuana, and a large sum of cash. The man has an open felony case in Outagamie County for cocaine and marijuana possession. He was taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail on drug-related charges. (Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s photo).
