Bond has been set at $2 million cash for a suspect in a reckless homicide case in Fond du Lac. Twenty-year-old Annaka Winter Trudell could be charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the death of 33-year-old Ashley Ann Calo of West Bend. During a court hearing in Fond du Lac County court Tuesday Trudell appeared via video from the Fond du Lac County Jail. Prosecutors have listed 21-year-old Dawson Miller as a co-defendant in the case. He faces possible charges of harboring a felon and disorderly conduct. On February 13th Fond du Lac Police found Calo slumped over the wheel of her vehicle which had crashed in the area of West Follett Street and North Main Street. It struck landscaping bricks and came to rest atop a cluster of bushes. She was unresponsive and died later at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. Prosecutors allege Dawson may have assisted Trudell in a drug transaction that resulted in Calo’s death. He allegedly admitted to hiding Trudell’s clothing. At the time of his arrest, he had her ID and credit cards. Miller’s bond was set at $1 million cash. (Fond du Lac County Jail photos).
