17 February 2024 News
A 39-year-old Fond du Lac man has been convicted of two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle-with a prohibited alcohol concentration after pleading to the charges. Adam Richardson’s convictions stem from a drunken driving crash in Fond du Lac County on February 26th, 2022, which killed two occupants in the vehicle. Judge Anthony Nehls revoked bond, ordered a pre-sentence investigation, and a sentencing date has been set for April 29th. District Attorney Eric Toney stated, “We continue to see the devastations that drunk driving causes in our communities and our thoughts and prayers go out to the families that have lost a loved one in this crash.” Richardson faces a maximum possible sentence of 30 years of initial confinement and 20 years of extended supervision.
