2/11/24 Young Professionals of FDL Announce New Branding

11 February 2024 News

Fond du Lac, Wis. – Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF) unveiled new branding during the 2023 Future 5 Awards event in January. YPF updated their mission, vision, logo, and colors to better align with parent organization, Envision Greater Fond du Lac.

YPF’s new mission reads, “To engage and empower current and future leaders in the greater Fond du Lac area through professional development, networking/mentorship, and community engagement opportunities.”

The new vision states, “Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF) seeks to make the greater Fond du Lac area a vibrant community for professionals, playing a leading role in cultivating young and/or new talent within our community, bettering our workplaces and Fond du Lac as a whole.”

YPF chose to undergo a branding workshop in 2023, as branding and information relative to the organization was original to its creation in 2004. Dave Neumann, 2023 Chair of YPF, explained, “We thought it was time to refresh the brand to keep it standard with Envision, and reflect the way young professionals in Fond du Lac County have changed over time. Now there’s no question that YPF supports the strategic priorities of Envision.”

The new logo uses the same blue as the Envision Greater Fond du Lac logo and highlights that YPF is a program of Envision Greater Fond du Lac. The accent color for YPF is now a deep purple. All fonts and other general brand guidelines will echo those used by Envision.

Envision Greater Fond du Lac upholds a mission to bring stakeholders together to pursue opportunities that improve economic vibrancy, strengthen community identity, and invest in the next generation. YPF supports Envision’s strategic priorities by providing programming that develops emerging community leaders both personally and professionally and serving as a placemaking organization for area young professionals.

After being unveiled at the Future 5 Awards, YPF will officially launch their re-brand with an event and ribbon cutting on Thursday, February 29, 2024. This event is free to existing, new, and potential members of YPF who are looking to learn more about the group, including the re-brand.
