10/21/23 Spooktacular Bingo at Town Square

21 October 2023 News

GREEN LAKE, WI, — This October, we’re putting a thrilling twist on our monthly Bingo night with ‘Spooktacular Bingo.’ Join us on Saturday, October 28, dressed in your Halloween best! Doors and concessions open at 5:00 p.m., card sales begin at 5:30 p.m., and the hauntingly fun games start at 6:30 p.m.

Knuth Brewery is the generous sponsor for Spooktacular Bingo, Green Lake’s biggest costume party. Recognized for their exceptional craft beers and commitment to the community, Knuth is elevating the fun with gift cards and merchandise for our costume winners and other prizes.

The evening offers 13 spine-chilling games, along with speedy bingo and a progressive blackout featuring a jackpot of $2,213 plus half of the night’s sales if Bingo is called in 53 numbers or fewer. The jackpot could reach more than $2,500 with a consolation prize of $200 if Bingo is not called in 53 numbers or less. The night will also feature a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and plenty of family fun.

“I always love seeing how people incorporate the theme of Bingo into what they wear,” said Diane Rogahn, a devoted volunteer. “This month’s Halloween theme never disappoints. I can’t wait to see all the great costumes!”

Concessions will be available for purchase, including Sheboygan hot dogs, chips, beer, and wine. Carry-ins are prohibited. Attendees are highly encouraged to arrive early to find their preferred seats before the games begin. Minors are welcome to play Bingo in Wisconsin but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Bingo takes place at Town Square on the last Saturday of every month. Proceeds from the bingo games support Town Square, an award-winning community center located in the historic county courthouse buildings in the heart of downtown Green Lake. The mission of Town Square Community Center is to enrich the lives of the Green Lake community members, family, and friends by providing cultural, social, recreational, educational, and economic opportunities for people of all ages, while preserving our treasured historic building. Town Square is operated by Green Lake Renewal, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
