A second suspect in a North Fond du Lac shooting incident was taken into custody Friday afternoon. The 19-year-old Fond du Lac man is a suspect in an incident that occurred in the Village last Monday. Evidence indicates that the suspect had walked from an address in the City of Fond du Lac, to an address in the 700 Block of Michigan Avenue and fired 5 rounds into an occupied living room from a short distance. The suspect fled on foot. There were multiple search warrants served in response to the shooting. Officers and Deputies executed search warrants in the Village, City of Fond du Lac, as well as in the Village of Eden. Firearms and ammunition were located. North Fond du Lac Police were assisted by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, Fond du Lac Police, and Special Agents from the Department of Justice. No one was injured during the execution of the search warrants.
