A single vehicle crash in Dodge County Friday afternoon claimed the life of a 39-year-old woman. Sheriff’s officials say the woman was heading north on State Highway 26 south of Red Cedar Road when she failed to negotiate a curve. The car entered the gravel shoulder, and she lost control of the vehicle striking a tree. The County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced her dead at the scene. She was the sole occupant of the car. Deputies were dispatched to the crash in the Town of Burnett at 4:48 pm.
