8/27/23 New Contract for Mercury Marine Employees

Mercury Marine and the negotiating committee of the labor union, IAMAW Lodge 1947, have announced a new collective bargaining agreement. The new contract, which will remain in place through September 30th, 2028, was voted in favor by members of the union and will be signed by both Mercury Marine and the IAMAW. Complete details of the agreement will not be made public. Mercury Marine President John Buelow says the new five-year contract is in the best interest of their workforce and the continued growth of Mercury Marine. IAM District 10 Business Representative Jeremy Terlisner says the new contract will provide their members with industry-leading pay and benefits. Mercury Marine employs more than 3,800 people at its global headquarters in Fond du Lac and more than 7,600 worldwide.
