7/22/23 One Person Killed One Injured in Washington County Crash

A 21-year-old Hartford man was killed and a 64-year-old Fond du Lac County woman seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident in Washington County late Thursday night. Sheriff’s officials say the accident happened on County Trunk K at Interstate 41. The Hartford man died at the scene. Flight for Life flew the Fond du Lac County woman to a hospital for treatment. Investigators say the woman was turning north onto the northbound on ramp to I-41 when her vehicle was struck by the man’s westbound vehicle. Speed was a contributing factor to the crash. It was the county’s 11th traffic fatality of the year.
