7/13/23 Waupun Man Suspected of Dealing Drugs

A routine traffic stop last Friday on Highway 151 near Townline Road in the Town of Fond du Lac and subsequent investigation led Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies, Lake Winnebago Area MEG Unit agents, and Waupun Police to a residence in Waupun suspected of drug activity. Sheriff’s officials found drugs in the vehicle and a follow up interview with the driver 58-year-old Gorlando Gardner of Waupun led to a Waupun residence and more drugs. Between the two searches 20 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 6 grams of powder cocaine, 528 grams or 1.2 pounds of marijuana and $2,000 of suspected drug proceeds were seized. Most of the drugs were individually packaged in smaller saleable quantities. Gardner is suspected of dealing drugs in the 4-county region of the Lake Winnebago Area MEG Unit. He was on parole. He made his initial appearance in Fond du Lac County court Tuesday on charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, and possessing drug paraphernalia.
