GREEN LAKE, WI, — Town Square Community Center welcomes Best Practice to its annual Party on the Pond live music bash on Monday, July 3.
The free event, held outside on Town Square’s Mill Pond Terrace, will kick off with live music at 4:30 p.m. and food and refreshments available for purchase throughout the night.
“Mill Pond Terrace wouldn’t exist without the support and funding from our community,” said Executive Director Kris Anderson. “Everyone is invited to celebrate our community’s spirit and talent in a beautiful space we created together.”
The headlining band, Best Practice, will take the stage at 7 p.m. With a loyal fan base, Best Practice is well-established in Wisconsin and known for their infectious and energetic performances. Their repertoire of crowd-pleasing hits is guaranteed to make everyone in the audience want to dance and sing along.
Joliana, a young and emerging band from the Green Lake area, will open the event with acoustic rock favorites starting at 4:30 p.m. This event will provide a platform to showcase their talent and reach a wider audience.
“Bring a chair and kick off the fourth of July holiday with music, food, and fun in the heart of downtown Green Lake,” added Anderson.
Admission to Party on the Pond is free. Food will be available for purchase at the event from local restaurants Walk the Dog, Murphy’s on Green, and Goose Blind Grill & Bar. Town Square Tap, located adjacent to the terrace, will serve a variety of beers, cocktails and wine.
The Mill Pond Terrace was a major project for Town Square and was made possible by many community members who donated to the project. The space has been used to host a wide variety of events such as weddings, concerts, and other private/community events. The terrace features steel, concrete, wood, and native plants, making this event space feel like a work of art.
