6/7/23 Dumpster Fire in Waupun

The Waupun Fire Department responded to a dumpster fire at W7080 Fox Lake Road in the Town of Chester shortly after 5 o’clock Tuesday morning. The dumpster was close to a home. When fire crews arrived, they found a 30-yard dumpster fully engulfed in flames. Crews determined the home was empty and quickly knocked down the fire before it could spread to a nearby garage. No firefighters were injured. Heat from the fire melted siding on the garage. The blaze is still being investigated but it is not considered suspicious. Waupun Police also assisted at the scene.
