6/12/23 Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash in Waushara County

Waushara County Sheriff Wally Zuehlke tells us a man was killed in a single vehicle crash on 4th Avenue near fire number N3037 in the Town of Hancock Saturday afternoon. Just before 2:30 it was reported there was a vehicle on fire across the street from the fire address near some trees. Deputies, Coloma/Hancock Station 2 Fire Department, Waushara County EMS, the State Patrol, and the County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene. Firefighters extinguished the fire. The driver was the only one in the vehicle and has suffered fatal injuries during the crash. Speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
