GREEN LAKE, WI, — Whether it’s creating beaded jewelry, drawing a
beautiful picture, or crafting a collage, the MakerSpace is the perfect place for you! The
MakerSpace, a free community crafting space, is located in Town Square Community Center,
492 Hill Street in Green Lake. It is open Monday-Friday 9 am – 5 pm during the winter months
and people of all ages are welcome to come in and get creative.
Starting this month, scrapbooking professional Lucia Krukar will be offering scrapbooking
classes for a suggested donation of $5 per class at the MakerSpace. Through her classes,
students will learn the basics of scrapbooking. Basic supplies will be provided with the option to
purchase others. Classes will be held on select Thursdays from 10 am – 12 pm in the
MakerSpace, with the first classes happening February 9 & 23 and March 9 & 23. More

“It’s always fun seeing what creations are made at the MakerSpace,” stated Zoe Niemuth,
Program Coordinator at Town Square. “It’s a hub of activity and provides a great space for
indoor activities during these cold winter months.”
The MakerSpace is supplied with a multitude of different crafting supplies, most available for the
public to use free of charge. For those looking for some guidance, there is a monthly craft
available with directions and all the supplies you need! This month’s crafts feature a sweetheart
mobile and a beaded heart charm.
