GREEN LAKE, WI, — People of all ages will be coming out of hibernation for
Polar Bear Bingo to make winter a little more “bear”-able. Come dressed in your comfiest
clothes; slippers and pajama pants encouraged! The bingo game is scheduled for Saturday,
January 28 at 492 Hill Street. Doors and concessions open at 5 p.m., card sales begin at 5:30
p.m. and games start at 6:30 p.m.
The night features 13 games, plus speedy bingo and a progressive black out final game with a
jackpot of $2,550 plus half the night’s progressive sales. The jackpot is estimated to exceed
$3,000, with a consolation prize of $200! The night will also feature a 50/50 raffle, door prizes
and plenty of family fun.
“Brave the cold and come out to play!” said Zoe Niemuth, Town Square Program Coordinator.
“Brighten up winter with a night of Bingo, drinks and fun at Town Square.” Minors are
welcome to play BINGO in Wisconsin but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Concessions will be available for purchase, including Sheboygan hot dogs, chips, beer, and
wine. Carry-ins are prohibited. Attendees are highly encouraged to arrive early to find their
preferred seats before the games begin.
Bingo takes place at Town Square on the last Saturday of every month. Proceeds from the
bingo games support Town Square, an award-winning community center located in the historic
county courthouse buildings in the heart of downtown Green Lake. The mission of Town Square
Community Center is to enrich the lives of the Green Lake community members, family, and
friends by providing cultural, social, recreational, educational, and economic opportunities for
people of all ages. Town Square is operated by Green Lake Renewal, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit
organization.
