The Packers continue to get ready for the Vikings Sunday at Lambeau Field. Green Bay has won three straight and need to beat Minnesota and Detroit next week and then get some help in order to make the playoffs. The Packers lost the season-opener at Minnesota 23-7 as wide receiver Justin Jeffeson had 184 receiving yards.
The Vikings come into the game with a 12-3 record while the Packers are 7-8. Kickoff is at 3:25 with the pregame starting at 1:00 on FM 1023, The Bug.
In Thursday Night Football the Dallas Cowboys won at Tennessee over the Titans 27-13. The Cowboys led 10-0 early in the second qauarter and then had three straight turnovers that let the Titans back in the game 10-6 at the half. Joshua Dobbs, who was signed off the Detroit Lions practice squad on December 21st, made his first NFL start for Tennessee and went 20-39 for 232 yards, one touchdown and one intercetpiions. The Cowboys Dak Prescott ws 29-41 for 282 yards, two touchdowns, both to Dalton Schultz, and two interceptions. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb caught 11 passes for 100 yards. Dallas imporves to 12-4 while Tennessee drops to 7-9.
The Bucks are back in action tonight as they host Minnesota. Milwaukee is coming off at 119-113 overtime loss to the Bulss Wednesday, despite Giannia Antetokounmpo’s 45 points, which matched a season-high. He also had a season-high 20 rebounds.
The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team is back in action tonight hosting Western Michigan. The 15th ranked Badgers are 9-2 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten.
Pele, the Brazilian king of soccerl who won a record three World Cups and became one of the most commanding sports figures of the past century, died Thursday. He was 82. He got his start with the Brazilian national team at the age of 15.
