12/28/22 Donation to Ripon Senior Center Appreciated

Earlier this year the Alliance Laundry Systems in Ripon launched its Alliance Laundry Cares program. It is the company’s way of addressing the basic need for cleanliness, comfort and dignity for the most vulnerable in communities where their team members live and work. Their first donation was to the Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services in Oshkosh. Last week they donated a Speed Queen Washer and Dryer to the Grace and Lloyd Mitchell Senior Activity Center in Ripon. Ripon Senior Activity Center Executive Director Noreen Johnson says it was much appreciated. She says they are still taking monetary donations for the new center. She says those donations can be made out to the center or the city and dropped off at the center or city hall. She says if someone is considering donating equipment or furnishings to the center, they should check with her first which they can do by calling the center at 920-748-6225 or 920-748-6450.
