11/20/22 Town Square Holiday Faire

20 November 2022 News

GREEN LAKE, WI, — Make Town Square’s Holiday Faire one of your stops on Saturday, November 26 as part of the city-wide Keep the Cheer Here event. Shop local and enjoy a fun-filled day with a holiday boutique, kids crafts and Santa at Town Square.

“The Saturday after Thanksgiving is always a jam-packed day of holiday fun,” said Kris Anderson, executive director of Town Square. “From holiday crafts and Santa for the kids, the Cookie Walk and shopping downtown, then Ugly Sweater Bingo for the whole family, everyone will find something that brings them cheer in Green Lake.”

Attendees can start (and finish) their holiday shopping during the faire. The morning begins with the Indoor Holiday Market in the Town Square Lobby from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The market typically draws the most vendors of the season offering locally-made and handcrafted items such as knit scarves, wreaths, plants, canned goods and more. In addition to the market, Santa’s Nifty Thrifty Christmas Shoppe will be open in Hanger’s Boutique. This pop-up shop features gently used holiday decorations, clothing and small gifts, with all proceeds benefiting Town Square.

Children can write letters to Santa and visit with him and Mrs. Claus in Studio A. The Makerspace will have holiday crafts and fun decorations. Volunteers will be in the makerspace from 11-2 to help with a special decorative craft.

Revelers are encouraged to dig out their extra special holiday sweaters for Ugly Sweater Bingo from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. in the Town Square Bingo Hall.

“Town Square’s mission is to bring folks together and what better time to do that than during the holiday season?” Anderson said.

Town Square is an award-winning community center located in the historic county courthouse buildings in the heart of downtown Green Lake. The mission of Town Square Community Center is to enrich the lives of the Green Lake community members, family, and friends by providing cultural, social, recreational, educational, and economic opportunities for people of all ages.
