Fond du Lac Police have identified the 51-year-old woman found dead in a home in the 100 block of East Merrill Avenue Sunday morning. They were originally called at 8:15 that morning to do a welfare check. Officers found Jacquelyn Jo Rooney dead inside her home. The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s autopsy results are pending, but police are calling Rooney’s death “suspicious” in nature.
