Fond du Lac Police are investigating the death of a 51-year-old Fond du Lac woman. Officers were asked to do a welfare check at a residence in the first block of East Merrill Avenue Saturday morning at 8:15. They found the woman dead inside her residence. The circumstances leading up to her death are being investigated. The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
