9/24/22 NFDL Man Sentenced On Arson and Child Porn Possession Charges

24 September 2022 News

A 45-year-old North Fond du Lac man was sentenced Friday to 25 years in prison and 25 years of extended supervision on possession of child pornography, arson, first degree recklessly endangering safety, burglary, and criminal damage to property charges. Overall Fond du Lac County Judge Tricia Walker sentenced Michael Miller on 12 felony charges out of the 25 original charges he faced. Other charges were read into the record and dismissed. District Attorney Eric Toney says, “The defendant stole the sense of security from victims and the series of arsons placed community members, first responders, and fire fighters in danger.” Miller was found guilty of the 12 felony charges during a hearing in June when he entered no contest pleas.
