9/24/22 Armed Robbery Reported In Oshkosh

Police in Oshkosh are looking for a 20-year-old man who hit a woman in the head with a handgun and took her vehicle late Thursday night. The woman was parked next to a business in the 800 block of North Main Street when the suspect, Albert Smith, pulled a gun and pointed it at her head. There was a struggle and she was struck in the head. Smith, an African American, took her car a gray 2017 Mazda 6 with Wisconsin license plate APN 1548. Smith and the victim knew each other. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who with information about the incident is encouraged to contact Detective Vang at 920-236-5700.
