9/2/22 Fire Destroys Garage In FDL

The Labor Day weekend in Fond du Lac kicked off early Friday morning with a garage fire at 440 Grove Street. When firefighters arrived they found a detached garage totally involved in fire. They were able to quickly knock down the fire before it could spread to nearby exposures. The garage and its contents were a total loss. Due to wide-spread fire damage determining a cause and origin of the blaze is going to be difficult. The time of the fire call was 1:10 am. (Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue photo)
