With a decade’s worth of prosecutorial experience and as President of the Wisconsin District Attorney’s Association, Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney feels he has the experience needed to serve as the state’s Attorney General. But first he has to defeat two Republican opponents in tomorrow’s Primary Election. Toney says incumbent Attorney General Josh Kaul has failed to get testing in the state crime lab done quicker so law enforcement and prosecutors can get their cases resolved expediently. Toney feels Kaul has been more an activist, but that the Attorney General’s Office should be enforcing the letter of the law. Toney is endorsed by over 100 Sheriff’s, District Attorneys, and Police Chiefs, Congressman Glenn Grothman and a host of others.
