7/20/22 Fatal Pickup Truck Crash In Dodge County

A Dodge County Sheriff’s deputy came across a motor vehicle crash on County Highway G approaching County Highway CP in the Town of Westford early this morning. The deputy found the driver of the pickup truck and began life saving measures. The pickup truck driver, a 59-year-old man, was driving west on County Highway G approaching a curve in the roadway and failed to negotiate the curve. The truck went off the roadway, began a counter-clockwise spin, and the truck drove off an embankment where it overturned. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was the sole occupant. He was taken to the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam where he died. The crash was discovered at 12:43 am.
