Wisconsin health officials Thursday reported 1,837 new COVID-19 cases lowering the 7-day average to 1,775 new cases a day. The positivity rate also decreased slightly to 12.3 percent for all tests, which is down almost a full percentage point from a few days ago. The Department of Health Services reported 3 recent deaths as well. The Wisconsin Hospital Association yesterday reported 379 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 60 people in intensive care units. Hospitalizations were down by 19 from the day before and the number of patients in intensive care by 6.

Winnebago County Thursday reported 64 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death. Twenty-eight (28) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 12 new cases. Green Lake County had 5 new cases, Waupaca County 10 new cases, and Waushara County had 6 new cases of the coronavirus.
