5/9/22 Fatal Accident In Green Lake County

A 41-year-old man was killed when his car collided with a semi tractor trailer truck on Green Lake County Highway Q south of County Highway X in the Town of Mackford Friday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say the man was driving his car north on County Highway Q and the semi was heading south. The sedan suddenly entered the southbound lane and struck the semi head-on. The driver of the sedan died at the scene. The semi driver, a 37-year-old-man, was taken to Waupun Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. County Highway Q was closed for approximately 6 hours. Green Lake County’s 911 Communications Center got a call about the accident shortly after 3 pm Friday afternoon. (Green Lake County Sheriff’s photos)
