Green Lake, Wis. – Internationally known blues harmonica player, blues pianist, and singer-songwriter Corky Siegel and guest Randy Sabien will return to the Thrasher Opera House stage on Friday, May 28 at 7:30 p.m.  Please note: Per the artist’s request we will require all attendees to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours OR full COVID-19 vaccination for entry. Masks will also be required.

Co-founder of the SIEGEL-SCHWALL BAND, and Blues Hall of Fame Inductee, Siegel has a catalog of recordings on RCA, Vanguard, Alligator, and million-selling blues/classical recordings on the iconic classical label Deutsche Grammophon. His close associations with the blues masters in the earlier days of Chicago blues, his essential part in the blues-rock revolution, and his surprising success in bringing together blues and classical audiences make him a pivotal figure in modern music history.

Randy Sabien is a bluesy, rockin’, swingin’, funky, jazz violinist. With an intensely rhythmic, vibrant, and inventive style, he has captivated audiences worldwide, playing with scores of bands and musicians of all stripes.

This event is sponsored by Green Lake Dental and supported in part by grants from the Alfred Peck Fund, Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.  Hospitality for the event is provided by the Heidel House Hotel and Conference Center.
