Willy Adames hit two of Milwaukee’s six homers, and the Brewers beat the lowly Cincinnati Reds 10-5 on Thursday. Luis Urías, Christian Yelich, Tyrone Taylor and Keston Hiura also connected as Milwaukee won for the eighth time in nine games. Yelich finished with three hits and scored three times, and Adames had four RBIs.
Brewers right-hander Adrian Houser (3-2) allowed five runs, four earned, and seven hits in five innings.
Cincinnati closed out a winless six-game trip with its ninth consecutive loss. The major league-worst Reds have dropped 20 of 21 overall.
Tyler Stephenson homered and drove in two runs, but Cincinnati was unable to overcome another shaky performance by hard-throwing rookie Hunter Greene (1-4).
Urías and Yelich connected against Greene in the first, and Rowdy Tellez’s RBI double tied it at 3. Adames capped Milwaukee’s three-run second with a two-run drive to left-center. Taylor and Hiura went deep in the third before Greene was replaced by Luis Cessa.
The 22-year-old Greene was tagged for eight runs and nine hits in 2 2/3 innings in his fourth consecutive loss. He struck out seven and walked one.
Brewes: LHP Eric Lauer (2-0, 1.93 ERA) starts Friday night at Atlanta in the opener of a nine-game trip. The Braves, who beat the Brewers in their NL Division Series last year, have yet to announce a starter for the series opener. First pitch is at 6:20 and the game can be heard on AM 1100/98.3 FM, WISS.
Elsewhere in the NL Central Thursday the Cardinals beat the Giants 7-1. The Pirates and Cubs had the day off.
The Green Bay Packers have reportedly reached a contract agreement with one of their two first-round draft picks. Devonte Wyatt, a defensive tackle from Georgia, is signing for four years and $12.86 million, according to the NFL Network. The deal includes a $6.533 million signing bonus. Wyatt was the 28th overall pick.
The Bucks host the Celtics in a pivitol game-three of their Eastern Conference semifinal series Saturday. Milwaukee took the first game last Sunday but then Boston bounced back Tuesday to win 109-86. Saturday’s tipoff is at 2:30 from Fiserv Forum.
In the Western Conference semifinals Saturday Memphis is a Golden State with the series tied at 1-1.
In the other Eastern Conference semifinal series tonight, Miami is at Philadelphia with the Heat leading 2-0. In the Western Conference semifinals Phoenix(2-0) is at Dallas.

Track and Field
Berlin took home the title in the girls meet at home with 182 points, while Ripon captured the boys title with 155 points. Laconia (183), Ripon (94), Markesan (91), Winnebago Lutheran (74), Wautoma (60), North Fond du Lac (54) and Princeton/Green Lake (31) followed in the girls meet.
In the boys meet, Berlin (147.5), Winnebago Lutheran (105), Markesan (78), Princeton/Green Lake (64.5), North Fond du Lac (52), Laconia (50) and Wautoma (36) followed Ripon.
In the girls meet, Ripon’s Celina Lopez won the 100 meters (:12.81), the 200 meters (:26.36), the long jump (17-1.5) and the triple jump (36-2).
Berlin’s Callie Kurczek won the 1,600 with a time of 6:00.30 and the 3,200 with a time of 13:15.85.
In the boys meet, Berlin’s Devin Derleth won the 100 (:11.48), the 200 (:23.24) and the triple jump (42-2).
Ripon’s Noah Hanson won the shot put (44-10) and the discus (132-9).
