After a couple days of declining numbers of new COVID-19 cases Wisconsin Wednesday saw the number of new cases shoot up to 2,360. That also increased the 7-day rolling average to 1,389 cases per day. The positivity rate for all tests increased to 10 percent. The Department of Health Services says 12 deaths were also reported and 48 people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are 265 COVID-19 patients in hospitals around the state and 42 of them are in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 80 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. Fifty-seven (57) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and 15 new cases in Dodge County. Green Lake County had 1 new case, Waupaca County had 11 new cases and Waushara County reported 3 new cases of the coronavirus
