The state’s Department of Health Services Tuesday reported 830 new COVID-19 cases, the second day in a row that fewer than 1,000 new cases were reported. That lowered the 7-day rolling average for new cases by more than 50 cases a day to 1,262. The positivity rate for new cases remains high at 9.5 percent of all test results. Six more deaths were reported half of which occurred over the last 30 days. The DHS also reported 34 hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are 245 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 39 of them in intensive care units.  

Winnebago County reported 15 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday. Thirteen new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County. Dodge, Green Lake, Waupaca and Waushara counties each reported 5 new cases.
