Oshkosh Police are investigating a shooting death that occurred in the 300 block of Oxford Avenue just before 6 o’clock Monday night. The person who was shot was taken to a local hospital where they died. A 37-year-old Oshkosh man suspected of the shooting was taken into custody near the area where it occurred. He was taken to the Winnebago County Jail on charges of first degree intentional homicide. The incident remains under investigation.
