5/26/22 Fatal Crash In Waupaca County

The Waupaca County Sheriff’s office says a driver was killed in a single-vehicle accident in the Town of Helevita Wednesday morning. Deputies responded to the crash on Highway 161 west of County Highway E about 5:13 am. The vehicle overturned ejecting the driver from it. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Iola Fire, Iola Area Ambulance, Northwest First Responders, and the County’s Medical Examiner’s Office.
