Wisconsin’s Department of Justice cancelled the Silver Alert for William Hendon Saturday afteroon at 12:25 pm after he was found safe.

Authorities from Waushara County are looking for a missing 82-year-old Redgranite man. William Hendon was last seen on 24th Drive where he lives going out to check on his mail about 5 pm Friday night. He left walking with a cane and never returned. William is a white man, 5 foot 10 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes and gray short scruffy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket and black or dark colored pants. Anyone who has seen him or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office at 920-787-3321 or their local law enforcement agency.
